This is a good point and I am with you for as long as you are not going to stretch the limits of the part you make. In my case, this is rather often true unfortunately. when I touch off I always check the milling limits and visally that is quite convinient. Apart from this, one really could look at it as a nice gadget, especially when considering the amount of cpu 'wasted'. As I announced, I will set up a test box and play with it and let you know how I get along. It will be my opersonal findings though, so expect some coloured opinion. > > > - job file selectable (can't see a file select > dialogue on what is shown on referred page) > > Touchy does not have a full file chooser. I put files "in > the control" > from my other machine using a simple copy over the > network. I will point it to a symbolic link. Like that I'll have access both ways: Touchy to its fixed source directory and for the various projects their priject directory. As mentioned I use this approach already successfully with axis for my master / sub program jobs. > > > - is there a "start from current line" option? > > Yes, you can select among "Start Points" also on the Auto > tab. Up to now, I just hit the line and said start from here, I still have a long way to go until I know gcode as do know the inside of my pocket! > > Looks *good*, really good, I am already in love with > it! > > Thanks!
