Hi all, Backround: at fest '08 I bought a panasonic ( MSMA ) driver and ac servo ( 40W ) from Steve White.
Finally, I'm getting around to trying it. Hooked it up as per the online docs. ~150 pgs of .pdf So far I've connected 110 power to terminals 1 (blk), 3, (white), and gnd (green terminal). Also 1 is tied to r and 3 is tied to t. Servo motor is tied to U, V, W and ground and the encoder cable is in place. Problem: no response. ie. the unit does not appear to fire up at all. No display, no response to 'set' or 'mode'. Any experience, recommendations or ideas would be appreciated.
