The music seemed to be the leakage from a subwoofer channel, fully cranked.
My speakers were dancing around in overload and I only got a piece of a word
now and then regardless of the volume setting. The machine itself looks
great, but since I couldn't hear the narrative and was probably disturbing
the missus at the other end of the house, I stopped it after about a minute,
before the machine actually moved.
Let me put myself in context. I am a retired broadcast engineer whose always
got his ear tuned to the sound cuz the DJ's and such often had tin ears &
couldn't even hear when the needle was chipped and ripping plastic curls out
of the record they were playing. So maybe I'm a little pickier than most,
just because I could do something about it when the product we were selling
went tits up aurally. I did pix too, back in Never Twice Same Color days.
Retired, sorta, my phone still rings occasionally, but at 75 I'd druther be
carving wood or making something on my own milling machine. Material
whatever is handy.
Shoot the list another URL if you fix it please. I love to see it being put
through its paces. ;-)
