hi

I search on craigslist for CNC in Seattle and found milling machine that
heavy - 10 000 lb for $3000.00.
Company bought it but never run it.
this is interesting responds that i got:

"
The guys could run the machine manually but figuring out how to use the
controller became a time consuming issue that required some expertise we
didn't have.

We bought another large VMC that was recommended at a deal, set it up in our
shop, purchased Mastercam, went through the Mastercam training, finally
found the right adaptor for our computer to talk to the controller and
6-months later, in a slower time for us we now are up and running on the
newer VMC.

The Cincinnati VMC is a good machine but the effort it would have taken did
not make much sense at the time. If we don't sell the Cincinnati Milacron
VMC soon we may have to scrap her.

i think important part is that controller need to be simple and need good
manual about how to run it.
thanks
