The OP's problem was a shift during the part run, so that one wall of 
the part was
thicker than the opposite wall.  So, I don't think it is a G92 offset.  
That would be
more likely to have a several INCH offset between runs, but of course, 
any value
could happen.

You can check for a shift in the machine coordinate system to eliminate that
possibility.
