I´ve been working on a machine that had this feature and it was very useful. >I really dont know what would have to be done between the > traj. planner and motion controller. I don´t know anything about EMC but there must be some kind of clock signal somewhere at the lower end of EMCs real-time engine. Stopping this clock signal from running a constant frequency and linking it to the clicks of the hand wheel would probably do the job. Well just a thought... I´ll get my a hand wheel and start by trying to get jogging and feed override to work for a start. By the way and recommendations for a reasonable priced hand wheel? The "real" ones are quite expensive but I´ve seen some cheap ones on ebay for abut 150 EUR, any other place to look?
