I made this inexpensive 100 cpr MPG: http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/Shizuoka/mpg_proto-1a.jpg This is just a proof of concept, but works very well. It just needs a detent feature and formal enclosure. The sensors are: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?WT.z_header=search_go&lang=en&site=us&keywords=H22LOI&x=18&y=13 (Short URL) http://alturl.com/eqzr I chose these because they have a very small sensor window. I can provide my wheel g-code or there is a wheel widget on the wiki (I think, http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Simple_EMC_G-Code_Generators , but I don't see it there.) One advantage of inexpensive MPG's is that you can use more than one (X, Y, Z or more axes, overrides, etcetera) with out breaking the bank. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SOLARIS 10 is the OS for Data Centers - provides features such as DTrace, Predictive Self Healing and Award Winning ZFS.
