Hi Wes,

The lathe was sold to me as a running machine, so a 
retrofit should not be mandatory. I was just thinking that
this group would be likely to want to use EMC2.

The factory controls are Fanuc 6T with CRT and keyboard.
This stuff is 1984 vintage. The machine actually has two
of them, one for X and Z on the main turret, and a
second for the Z that runs the end working turret. They
share the same CRT and keyboard.

The original controls are capable of cutting with both
turrets at the same time using two G code programs
and M functions to stop and wait for sync points 
between programs. The EMC2 conversion shown in
the YouTube video seems not to attempt this.

I do have spares for most of the cards. I also have both
the Hardinge operators manual and maintenance manual.
Plus I have the generic Fanuc 6T OEM systems integrators 
manual.
