I suspected as much.
My purpose in sending my original message, however, was to point out to the maintainers that newbies (which I'm not) will have difficulty with this release. This is unfortunate, because we want them to have a good experience right "out of the box" without having to fix up data files. Otherwise, they're likely to believe the usual snipping comments of the "other" machine-control system developers that EMC2 is only for the cognoscenti. I would suggest fixes on my own but I've only been setting up EMC2 for my own use and I'm not confident I'd make the example configurations right for others. Hence, my KentNits. Regards, Kent PS - for those who are especially observant, I know I got it wrong when I quoted the error message (in b. above). It turns out I picked up the "Position relative actual" from the bottom EMC2 information bar. Since the error message I mention shows up in a borderless window that abuts this bar, it appears to a casual observer to include this extra text, but of course it does not. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: Show off your parallel programming skills.
