Hi All:

Here's a question esp for the XY routing table folks. What's a good
'dremel' tool to survive the side loading of engraving on alumnium? I want to
make face plates for electronics enclosures, so text, numbers, outlines etc.
That means small end mills and high RPM's. Maybe even nameplates and the such.
I'm designing a clamp on mechanism to allow me to mount a 'dremel' tool shotgun
on my z pillar and just vary the z axis like +/- 100 thau at most. But that
side loading seems to me would tear a dremel apart.

I see the XY table crowd uses them. What approach should I take? The $30
special from Horrible Fright and just blow through them? Or sink $100+ into
something that will last me more than a few projects?

  Your thoughts?

Andrew
