RS-274-D is the name of an ANSI/EIA published standard, now also an ISO 
standard, I believe.
"The NIST RS274/NGC Interpreter" is the name of a NIST project that few 
people have ever heard of.
(I have a paper copy of the very marked-up original document, as well as 
the final Version 2
document.  NGC stands for "Next Generation Control" the name of a 
specific NIST project.)
I think we need to maintain the distinction between these two terms.
