Dear All,
I just installed 2.4.3 with 10.04 onto a single board
computer. It installed without a problem.
My monitor wants a 60Hz refresh and Ubuntu defaults to 68Hz.. When I go
to Preferences-Monitor,
change to 60Hz and click apply, my mouse cursor disappears. The cursor
is still working, if I blindly
move to top right of the screen and click, it opens the shutdown menu.
The cursor is still missing
after a reboot. I got some advice from the forum to try this, open
terminal, type sudo Xorg -config
to try and create an xorg.conf file I can edit, but I get a message
"Fatal Server Error" and something
about display 0 . Am I doing something really stupid? Any help and
advice appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Dave.
