Andrew: [I composed a reply last night. I don't know what I did, but part of Thunderbird says I did and part does not, and my composition seems lost in my personal black hole. If a second reply shows up, you're free to assume I'm not in control.] I tip my hat to you! Your hexapod looks great. Aren't inverted Stewart platforms fun? I was involved in a construction-automation project at NIST where we were flying structural I-beams around the high bay in ways no construction crane ever thought of doing. It ranked very high in coolness rating; unfortunately, very low in industry take-up. As an aside, when I first looked at your video, I thought you had built your machine in your living room! If you actually did, please give me some pointers on how to convince my wife I should be able to build robots in ours:-) Please keep us posted as you go along.
