Here's the video I was wanting. Very long winded though, and notice how this
guy presses down on his vice lever. Not a good idea if you generally like to
keep your skin attached to your nuckles.

I found a 1/4in foam cord that is used in the construction industry, and
promptly bought a big reel, but have not tested it yet.

The principle though, looks very versatile.
