Gentle persons: I have uploaded copies of both the Ubuntu 10.04 and Ubuntu 8.04 versions of the EMC2 LiveCD to my Amazon S3 account. If y'all want, I can make them accessible via the torrent. The bandwidth should be quite good pretty much anywhere. My only caveat is that, as I read the Amazon Web Services docs, this action also makes them accessible as direct downloads, which would be more costly to me than torrent transfers. If I start seeing significant data transmission charges to my account I may have to discontinue the service. Pity the Amazon S3 services aren't more finely tuneable:-) Regards, Kent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
