Just one of the reasons I use mailfilter, fetchmail, procmail and SA, all 
in pop3 mode feeding kmail.  They would have to get past a dd-wrt router 
and into this machine to do that to me, whereas an imap account on any ISP 
is going to be subject to the well known low hanging fruit law.  Not to 
mention the message security problem when discussing new technologies that 
could lead to patents.  No message to me sits on the ISP's servers more 
than 3 minutes, so unless they are keeping a copy at the ISP, rotsa ruck in 
finding that one message with the priceless nugget of info in it, should 
there ever be one. ;-)

I would be more than happy to assist the linux/kde (& kmail) users here in 
setting this up. but for Gary and his winderz box, I am helpless as I 
formatted the drive that had my only copy of XP on it about 4 years ago.  I 
simply could not find a use for XP or anything that came with it.
