Hello, gentlemen! I need to make an offer for retrofitting pretty big 3 axis milling machine with toolchanger and electronically controlled gearbox for changing spindle speed. I would like to ask, if anyone can share some source of reading about the whole process. I have done retrofit on my waterjet machine, so I have some experience, but I would like to see, how others are doing it so that I do not have to reinvent the wheel and do not repeat some childish mistakes. That machine is in working condition, and there is some documentation about it available (also some schemes of wiring, which I find the most important), so I suspect the most challenging part will be understanding it. Maybe there are some useful threads in mailing archives, where some basics have been discussed?
