I'm in the process of replacing one central computer with individual atom based computers inside each electrical cabinet for my router, lathe and soon mill.
I'm wondering if anyone is using a KVM (Keyboard/Video/Mouse switch box), and what to look out for? What is better, long runs of DVI or VGA? (about 5 meters max). Is there any issue with electrical noise? I don't want to rely on a remote X connection to the box.
