Well, I've used a bunch of different KVM systems, and they all suck more or 
less. I've had far, far better luck using some sort of network-connected 
virtual desktop (Remote Desktiop, VNC, forwarded X, etc).

If you must go with KVM, I'd suggest keeping an eye out on epay/craigslist for 
used IP KVMs. Much less cabling to run around.
