I think the phone is superfluous. We use USB cell dongles to allow vehicle data loggers to upload their data. Something like this: http://www.vodafone.co.uk/personal/mobile-internet/on-your-pc-or-mac/internet-dongles/index.htm?WT.srch=1&cid=ppc-goo-mbb-c6-279-ph They come with a SIM card in the box. You insert the SIM, plug it into the USB port, and that is it. The data loggers we use run Linux. You _might_ be able to get some help from the company that sell us the system: http://www.control-tec.com/ -- atp "Torque wrenches are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BlackBerry® DevCon Americas, Oct. 18-20, San Francisco, CA http://p.sf.net/sfu/rim-devcon-copy2 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
