The ModIO's primary purpose is to be a pendent interface: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?ModIO The example above was my attempt a bending it to another or more generic purpose, but shows basic issues to use it with EMC2. Once the application is sorted out, it should be easy to duplicate it from then on. Another thought, a component or hal sub-file could be used to objectify (grouping existing components) a "standard" pendent, short of connecting any hardware. It would be up to the integrator to hal link the hardware to the object file. I'm not sure if that helps or not. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2dcopy2 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
