It all looks reasonably OK. What actually happens when you try to start EMC2?
(I am assuming that that dmesg doesn't include an attempt to start EMC2?)

Do you actually have NI hardware and comedi drivers? One think that
EMC2 doesn't have, and that I feel might be useful, is a hal to comedi
driver.
