I can send you a patch file that shows what I did.  It also disables the $
hotkey so I don't accidently switch modes with my fat fingers.  It isn't
perfect.  If you need to rehome, you need to press the home-all button twice
- I'm not sure why, but it is close enough.

I don't know if this was the best way of doing it.  I use the
user_live_update callback which is called regularly.  I couldn't find an
event that was triggered when home all was complete.

The change was made to src/emc/usr_intf/axis/scripts/axis.py from a couple
of days ago.
