That's a great number, Jon. I know the Wiki already has a "Case Studies" page but to my way of thinking it's more for integrators than for potential users/owners. In any case, it's grown like unruly kudzu rather than a cultivated plant and likely is difficult for a newbie to comprehend. Indeed, it's buried in a laundry list of topics. How many bosses never get past the executive summary? Wouldn't it be nice if someone could create a summary section that would catch the eye of folks like Roger. It might highlight the type of machine, its use (especially in production), and numbers like this one you just posted. With a little thought, I think such a page could do a lot to market LinuxCNC. I know it's gauche to suggest someone else should do it but I honestly don't know what a commercial user would be looking for.
