Well, Dave I did ask the question but I havn't got any answer yet. Just visited the place once recently and the machines were indeed humming! There is also an issue when there is thunderbolts in the air I suppose. I guess you have to close down when there is such weather... About the age of the Storebro 260 it should be around the beginning of the eighties. I have found an upgrade card from MEMEX for "FANUC series 6,11 and 12" and they are taking about "the old Bubble memory unit" ! That means old ;-) BTW, just looked closer to the MEMEX-pdf and found out that they indeed have some FANUC data in it's appendix! About the connection to Siemens the boss told me they did cooperate briefly in the eighties...
