True enough.  I should have been more specific in my answer.  The OP said 
"...and it looks like I would want the firmware set to support the Gecko 540."  
I should have said, if you want to run a 320X then you don't want the firmware 
set up for a 540, get a custom FW load to suit the pinout you want.  That is 
one of the nice features of the FPGA cards, they can be configured to do what 
you want it to do.
