I was using Google Chrome at the moment and forgot Firefox is somewhat different. In Firefox I would have right clicked, selected "view' the image, and printed it. Saving the image as you did serves the same purpose.
As for the new and improved Firefox user interface, I think the code jockeys make these gratuitous changes just to tease us silverbacks. You can still access the view-page-source function by right clicking on the html page outside of any image.
