We have some PCIE cards (the new 6I25 for example, and cabled PCIE solutions: 
6I71/3X20/7I68, 6i71/4I73/4I65 or 4I68 or 4I69) but for LinuxCNC the PCI cards 
will have better performance (lower latency for single transfers) and lower 
cost. Its not hard at all to find new motherboards with PCI slots (an informal 
check of NewEggs 9 featured motherboards shows 7 with PCI slots and 2 without)

Chosing a motherboard with good latency is more of an issue for LinuxCNC than 
finding one with PCI slots.
