Yes, and the file xxx_load.hal loads the hal components.  Then, the 
xxx_servo.hal
and xxx_motion.hal does all the setp commands from the .ini file parameters.
I updated to the most recent development master as of 6/18 and found no
problems with configs file sets that are written this way.  This system was
compiled from the source on 6/18, but is not the 2.5 CD distribution.

So, as far as I can see, on a 2.6.0~pre system compiled from the master 
source,
and running on an 8.04 rtai kernel, this problem does not exist.  I 
don't know
if that helps, any.
