I think 'Shop owner resistance' stems from the fact that LCNC does not have an 0800 'Help desk' or 'call your nearest agent', etc. There is no '30 day money back satisfaction guarantee' or 'Full refund if you are not completely satisfied' which is a something that everybody expects these days, figuring stuff out by yourself or having to get your hands dirty is an instant obstacle for many. No UI that gave you hints of faults or a debug list is going to change human nature.
