I love diesel cars, and I have driven VW diesels since 1985 (only 3 of them). It's crying shame what restrictions they have imposed on USA diesel cars. They've overcomplicated a once elegantly simplistic design that was years ahead of anything else on the road (and NO computers or batteries required). My current 1993 Jetta gets 48-52 MPG but the sheet metal is on it's last legs.
What I don't understand, is the diesel cars (old design) pollute to much so we must ban them, but the 400HP pickup trucks are allowed. Makes no sense. BTW I would never own a modern VW diesel...what an over priced engineering nightmare. dk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
