It is valid, up to the :85, which the router forwards to this machine, so apache is the only thing listening. Without the :85, the router should have responded like this: 64 bytes from n64s149.fttx.shentel.net (204.111.64.149): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.261 ms 64 bytes from n64s149.fttx.shentel.net (204.111.64.149): icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.244 ms Adding the :85 and it becomes an unk host. The /gene is the trunk of the tree the rest of the web tree is built on. But I just found the router status page is available at coyoteden.dyndns- free.com! But the universe will be quite a bit colder before the username and passwd are found if you want to look at anything else. > not all isp's restrict port 80 I have not found one locally that doesn't grab all port 80's inbound. > hobber restoration in progress > http://www.collection.archivist.info/archive/DJCPD/PD/2012/2012_08_09_Ba > rber_Colman/IMG_1292.JPG I've no clue what you have going on there Dave, but apparently not too much, its CLEAN! If its clean, no work is being done , right? :-) Cheers, Gene -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
