Maybe, but for the ideal one, $84 & 16 lbs.  Extra low amps windings for 
the logic on that one is nice though.

The AN-8435 should make, into a FW bridge with 10k uf input cap, around 48 
volts.  And at only 6-7 amps load, should run fairly cool.

I don't think we ever made a printable EDL.  When assembling a commercial 
from field footage, we just marked the frames and hit go.  Or lightwave 
could render at about a frame every 40 secs or so, and was smart enough to 
drive that editor.  Lightwave was scriptable so we wrote a cron for the 
amiga that fired the whole thing up a couple minutes after the 11pm 
newscast was put to bed, and we did gfx production to tape the rest of the 
night, lights out, on an 060 equipt A4000, buffering about 10 frames at a 
time on the teeny HD's of the day.
