I understand G28 and G30 and their use of the parameter blocks 5161-6 and 5181-6 Where are the HOME co-ordinates stored? Where are the Current Co-ordinates of the Controlled Point stored? In either case, I assume these will be expressed in absolute machine co-ordinates.
