A lot of the less expensive ones are.  There are still a lot of servo motors 
and drives being made in the Americas (not necessarily the USA) and Europe.

I got back from China a few weeks ago after setting up a set of machines for a 
processing cell.  Most of the machines I worked on had Siemens controls and 
servos.  Some of them had Labview controls and Rexroth servos.  Those machines 
had Parker hydraulics.  But the ajoining cell had Japanese controls and robots 
and some of their controls are made in China.

The plant was owned by an American based company.
