The Touchy user interface was designed to work equally well at any screen resolution. You will need to pick your fonts and font sizes accordingly, and you may have to adjust your screen DPI setting to make everything fit. But after you do that, it will work perfectly well. Before you buy the screen, you can set your normal monitor to that resolution and try it out, just using your mouse. AXIS originally worked at 800x600 but I'm not so sure it still does. But for a touch screen, you want Touchy anyway.
