I did put a 5i25 in a computer controlling a mill; the mill now *flies* if I want it. I cranked up the maximum velocities, and it can run 10x faster (rough guess) for hours without throwing up a "real time error". Not that I normally make it fly as fast, but I figured that if it could do fast things, it could do slightly slower things, too. (oh, and IIRC, my rotary table, 1rpm in 6 hours; back to 0.0, so it will do really slow things, too) I did put some things on my trivial blog - http://cnc-for-model-engineers.blogspot.com, but if you have specific questions, do as I did, just ask on this list. Now I even have the knowledge to respond to some 5i25-related issues. John A. Stewart ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites.
