Great! Always nice to hear a success story :-)

The debian archive at www.linuxcnc.org has the official released
versions of LinuxCNC, plus some extra packages that are needed to build
and run newer versions of LinuxCNC on older platforms, plus some extra
optional utilities like true-type-tracer.

buildbot.linuxcnc.org is our Continuous Integration server - any time
any developer makes any change to LinuxCNC, the buildbot compiles and
tests it, and if it works, it packages the results up and makes it
available in the buildbot debian archive. So you can think of the
buildbot as a preview of what the next official versions of LinuxCNC
will be, both for the master branch (what will become 2.6.0) and for the
2.5 branch (what just became 2.5.2, and will become 2.5.3 in time).

Running buildbot debs is sometimes less stable than the official release
debs from www.linuxcnc.org, especially in the un-released master (aka
2.6) branch. In the 2.5 branch, the buildbot debs should generally be
about as stable as the official releases, and sometimes more stable (as
bugfixes are committed to the 2.5 branch and built by the buildbot, but
not officially released yet).

Running buildbot debs and reporting bugs you find is a valuable way to
provide feedback to the developers about the status of the software
before release.
