I use my CNC lathe far more often than the CNC mill. Maybe I make a disproportionate number of round things, or maybe it is because as a kid we always had a lathe but no mill. I even like to use the lathe to square up stock. It helps that my lathe is set up with some simple macros so no programming is needed: http://www.bodgesoc.org/lathe/lathe.html Though I wouldn't do it that way if I was doing it now, I would use ngcgui. -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the endpoint security space.
