Chris, I am using linuxcnc2.5.2 on ubuntu 10.4. I installed the linuxcnc at 2.5.0 from the live cd and updated to 2.5.2.
I can include the spindle portion of the stepconfig in an email or I can email it to you off line. It is a little long to include it all in a post and I am not familiar with the normal posting sites.
