To use more than 4 gigs of ram you need either a 64-bit kernel or a 32-bit kernel with pae. Neither is likely to be developed for LinuxCNC 2.5 on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid. The RTOS work that Michael and Zultron are doing should get us a 64-bit kernel for Lucid and Precise for 2.6. -- Sebastian Kuzminsky ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
