I admit I was speculating from the .co.uk.
My local Air Cadets group had a tour of the Systime factory in Leeds
where they seemed to be doing everything including IC artwork. The
thing that impressed me most at the time was the wide-carriage
lineprinter with a rotating band of characters and a hammer for each
column position.

The last PDP11-controlled dynamometer cell at my current workplace was
replaced last year. However I think we still have a few on-site doing
other jobs.
