Ok so I did figure out that this is a megatorque motor with analog resolvers on it.
It seems to be a 3 phase motor with A+, A-, B+, B-, C+, C connections. I'm thinking about attempting to build a controller for this thing. The problem is, I'm not sure how this operates compared to a standard 3 phase AC motor with U,V,B windings? The inside looks like a giant stepper motor but I'm fairly sure its a "servo" and not a stepper. Has anyone ever messed around with one of these?
