I've got a pretty good offer on a DM-4400. Too good offer to let it go... It has closed loop steppers (surprised me) with gearboxes. It seems to be in good condition but I am ready to give it new ballscrews and new motors with direct feed or a 2:1 belt reduction and stronger steppers (more speed). It has a toolchanger. Me likey.
Seems there are a few retro's out there, anyone on the list who made one? I've read it's step/dir but new drivers and a LinuxCNC box to get rid of the proprietary old controller with be awesome.
