I haven't tried running stepconf, so I'm not sure that it even runs (although I don't know why it shouldn't). In reality, the PRU configurations are really much more similar to a Mesa config than to a software step setup. As far as LinuxCNC on the ARM is concerned, something _else_ is doing the step generation (the PRU in this instance) and I've tried to make the pins and parameters on the PRU step generator component match up well with the hm2 driver. So if you have a good hostmot2 setup, it's fairly straight-forward to convert it to the BBB with the PRU driver. -- Charles Steinkuehler [email protected]
