Years ago, there used to be a number of hardware
compatibility lists
that listed what parts were, and were NOT, compatible with
Linux.
I can't find any of these, anymore. I set up a new system
(after
TWELVE years!) and need to get a SATA DVD writer. Last one I
got (PATA) was selected from one of these lists and everything
was good. Can anyone steer me to a good list that has a bunch
of DVD burners that are known compatible with Linux?

(Or, is it that everything works flawlessly, but I find that
hard
to believe.)

Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Jon
