Same as Andy - I never rotate my toolpost. My boring bars are always in
line/parallel to Z? In fact all my tooling, holders and inserts are
designed to be used with the shank at either at 0 or 90 degrees to Z.

Same again - it's very rare that my tool shanks leave the holder. I just
replace the insert and retouch off.

Not quite so for me - tool 1 always lives in holder 1, tool 2 holder 2.

I have about 40 and to be honest I never use most of them. Most turning
jobs can be done with a combination of 3 or 4 tools plus drills. Well
over 95% of jobs I could do with a selection from 10 tools in total.
