Chains or belts? Give that a 24' belt might have a lot of stretch, it might be possible to run a large-diameter thin-wall steel tube diagonally under the table, and use two shorter belts to couple opposite ends of the two screws to the tube. It might be possible to twist the belts enough to make it work, or some sort of low-backlash flex-coupling might be needed (a diaphragm coupling, for example) -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HPCC Systems Open Source Big Data Platform from LexisNexis Risk Solutions Find What Matters Most in Your Big Data with HPCC Systems Open Source.
