I did notice this is on a wooden bench, I had a twisted lathe once upon a time in the 1970s, I went to a local machine reconditioning company and one of the first questions from the old guy was is it on wood, he then said its going to move are you sure you want to do this....I realised what he was saying and went back to the machine and tested flex under load even when bolted to the bench.
