All CNC machines use turtle graphics in 2D, 3D, 4D, etc. Gcmc is an abstract way to program the path of the "turtle" (mill) based on fairly standard math descriptions (vectors). CNC machines cannot physically jump. Well, they might do that, but that would not be a good thing, I guess. Can you give me an example when you want to "jump" and what that actually means for you? My guess is that you can use sub-routines to encapsulate functional routines for your "handling" machine and bind them together in conditional/uncoditional way. However, if you have (complex) feedback from your machine to decide what to do next, then you will find it difficult to use gcmc. It could be solved by using a different backend in gcmc to do other interactions, but that requires some development work and would depend highly on the application. -- Greetings Bertho (disclaimers are disclaimed) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download BIRT iHub F-Type - The Free Enterprise-Grade BIRT Server from Actuate!
